The Story of Seaman Solutions

Hello, I’m Terry Seaman, and I started Seaman Solutions in Johnson City, Tennessee in April, 2009. I had been concerned about the state of our economy for quite some time and felt burdened to be part of the solution for our area. By leveraging my skills as a both an engineering and business consultant, I can help existing businesses and new ventures and be part of an effort to create jobs for our region.

Many small businesses need engineering or management help but don’t want to hire someone full-time (especially with the added burden of benefits). A consultant working on a contract basis is the perfect solution for them.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1985 with a degree in mechanical engineering, and I have twenty-five years of professional engineering experience. I am a skilled project manager, and I enjoy the challenge of problem-solving, managing budgets and coordinating resources. I enjoy using my analytical engineering skills to tackle business problems like marketing and strategic development.

I am a “people person” and enjoy building a relationship with my clients. However, more important than my relationship with my clients is my relationship with my Creator. The Bible says in Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all you heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” I take this very seriously. I want Seaman Solutions to bring glory to the Lord and create wealth to further His kingdom.
